The clock has 3-dimensional Queen Palm Trees on it. Technically, I believe the trees are Phoenix Reclinata or Senegal Date Palms due to the appearance of the trunks. Nevertheless, the clock is adorable. It measures approx. 9" x 10" and has a working pendulum that hangs down from the bottom of the clock approx. 4.5". The clock is made of a high quality resin and already has a hook on the back for easy hanging. The Quartz movement clock uses one "AA" battery (not included).
